Our Story
CLASS-1 BBQ is a culmination of heritage, passion, and craftsmanship. Founded by military veteran Herbert “Chuck” Carr, a Pit-Master with a lifetime of experience in wood burning pits, the restaurant embodies the tradition of low and slow German/Czech style BBQ. Maria Carr, Co-owner and executive manager, brings her diverse cooking styles to enrich the restaurant's offerings. CLASS-1 BBQ is a dedication to the essence of Texas BBQ, a legacy passed down through generations.
